In Nepal,almost every children grow up with guidance from their parents.Son & daughter worship them as a god & follow path shown to them.

Father is considered the pillar of strength , respect and support of a family. The most auspicious day to honour one's father is of course Father's day .That day when children show their gratitude and appreciation for his guidance and teachings in life which expresses honour and love in their own special ways .

Son & daughter come to see their father on that auspious day any how.After the offering of gifts, they worship & touch their father's feet with their foreheads ,pray for good health with prosperous to god.

The fatherless people honour the memory of their fathers and promote welfare of his soul worshipping god.
As proud parent of one daughter ,i feel so lucky .Every thing i'm doing is for her ,its a love with responsibility.She's filling my emptiness with joy sharing love with her mom too. Its been almost 2 years that i left her with her mother in Nepal.She is almost 4 yrs.now & can't wait to see her.

3 days ago i felt curious after reading article in Seattletimes about Washaway Beach, as Beach is my 2nd Heaven after Mountains.

Some think having land here as a renting a motel room. But they get worried as the sea come closer .Some owner say “We still have private ownership under water .Some own acres in the area, 65 feet away, some are very closer .Up the beach, some of the remaining properties look mostly abandoned, placidly waiting their turn to slide away.

Is there any any plan to protect the property at Washaway Beach which is the fastest-eroding beach on the Pacific Coast.

It’s a self-feeding & destructive, carving away land into the Pacific .Despite official warnings many still eager to buy those affordable land .Many of the buyers r Seattleites eager for vacation property. Lot of people hope to go for long term.

Protecting what's left would cost hundreds of millions of dollars &'d 've to pay more to protect what's there than it's worth. So is it because of low priced temporarily land just for vacation ? When they still know their property gonna dissolved in big sea

Anyway i would love to get that dreamy kind of beach-land & spend vacation for atleast 10-15 years .

I still remember that day ,
As we three brothers bacame cow for our beloved grand father who passed away in that year .We got shower early in the morning ,had just some pure milk .Then we we started wearing special dress ,we got make up on our face ,we had special wooden hat .We were totally different now .Everybody was saying that we look cute .

As we had to follow music band ,we began talking about garnd father .He had great personality with kind heart.
We bagan our procession ,we had to roam lot of holy places .On the way, everybody (whose relatives had passed away in that year) used to feed us with milk. fruits , chocolate, breads, sweets with lot of money.Our family members were following us . It took 3 hour to finish the procession .
we believed that he was in heaven & looking at us & might be very happy to see his all grandchildren together doing something for peace of his soul .We prayed god for our grandfather
Gai Jatra is a healthy festival which enables the people to accept the reality of death .The occassion is also filled with songs,jokes, mockery and humour.

Potluck Picnic in Seattle for Prosperousness

Its being quite busy season for all Nepalese as series of events hit in this summer.Summer is Oh ! my god so so beautiful .Seattle is one of World's most charming city with Lakes.

As we are in Northern side,we had to make vegetable item for the potluck.I decided to make easy & fastest , beans with Italian sauce .

We headed spot at Lake Sammamish with Roomies Sam & Subhash. It was kinda exciting cause its Nepalese gathering with Domestic taste .It was lil hard to find out our Nepalese spot cause there was lot & lots of individual picnic was going on,we were hungry but we saw our Flag .

After shaking hands to frens,we rushed to Food lobby ,there was varieties of traditional food like aloo ko achhar's ,khasi ko masu dekhi liyera salad ,pasta....Wow amging food in hungry .

Then, Hello!!'s to everyone ,gossips of developments then there was Volleyball (Phutta Bhakundo)competition.It was fun .Again we had some of new arrived foods.There was lot of events for young & children wtih Nepalese music. people started leaving as black cloud appeared with some drizzle.

I could feel that its not only gathering for unity with food & play with Nepality but its a event for prosperousness for local Nepalese society .
